But out of the two choices you have. To either report bugs or not report bugs, if you choose the report bugs path you at least have some chance to get things fixed before Nokia stops officially supporting the N900 from a bugfixing viewpoint (if they do decide to do that). If you choose not to report bugs, your just going get stuck with a bug-ridden system if you choose not to sell the N900.

If people truly wanted to make a difference; mass return the devices. I mean, seriously... stopping filing bugs, et al that's fine too; go ahead.
But it will accomplish nothing. Nothing will change until they make up their mind to do something - which, at this rate doesn't seem like they're going to do much, let alone confirm anything.
And I doubt they feel the pressure to do so despite the constant complaints from this very board.
Nokia's lost a future customer in me. That's how I'll go about on my silent rebellion... all while still enjoying my N810.

I myself am going to get an HTC Desire as a Christmas gift (unless I am very, very surprised by Symbian^4).

I'd only get anything Nokia if it: 1) came with a guarantee it would at least get support 13 months after it came out or 2) I got it for free.
Nokia being subsidized in the US is close to zero, the N-Series at least, and I'm not in the mood for another situation like my N810 or the N900.
I'm sure they're great devices. But I'd rather know that the next OS announced for a device much like the one I own will actually be an option.

Frankly for me as long as the N900 gets bug-fixes and an assurance that QT will be kept up to date (again as I mentioned so we can run the latest and greatest QT apps developed on Symbian and Meego platforms in the future) then I'm happy regardless if Meego comes to the N900 or not.
