Someone knows when would be possible to have KOffice also for writing.

you cannot(?) edit documents on koffice.
personally,for now i only use open office for opening and reading ms office documents

Once Open Office opens it works great. I do wonder what would happen if someone tried to build it for Fremantle. It might just work. (IMHO, no need to hildonize it. It is better for such a complex program to have the small tool bars and normal menus. For the N810, Penguinbait compiled all of KDE! ALL the default apps worked: KOffice, Kate, all the games... I'm (VERRRY SLOWWLY) working on building CUPS so we can print, otherwise I would try one of these projects. Would someone pick up the baton of KDE or native OOO? Pretty Please?
