ive had it since November and ive had no problems at all with all networks. aussie firmware on all nokia's is probably the worst in the world. so much restrictions

wdf. well it must of sold well for it to make it here. i have had it since November last year. one of the first in the world to get it.

well it was never meant to come out here. but must of sold good overseas. ANYWAY don't get Aussie firmware which i am going to stand by. aussie laws put a lot of restricts on phone makes. if anything UK firmware is way better then ours, which is what im using.

MY BAD

Can you backup your reason as why not to get the Aussie firmware, instead of just saying DONT GET IT have you tried it out ? if so can u let me know what changes there are

im looking. but every nokia i ever owned has had a lot of restrictions with aussie firmware. i always changed my product code to a UK one and updated. you don't notice straight away but after a while little things will annoy you like 'Not being able to turn off the camera sound'

Except the camera sound thing (which is a APAC thing I believe since the laws in japan are really tight on that), what are the other differences/restrictions with the Aus fireware?

More to the point - is there anywhere that lists the differences between all the firmwares?

update: no real difference
