I think it's not an ARM device, it's a StrongARM. Ha.

Seriously though, just buy a cellular modem and stick it in EEEPC.

Also, what kind of Linux has a 2000 entry phonebook? What's that, 100K?

If the specs are true, it's a nice thing to have, if heavy, with the USB and the caller ringtone and the MMS (*elbow-pokes Nokia* ha!).

Wow. That's just about exactly what I'd like in a pocketable, if:

1) Android or REAL Maemo (not the fake Chinese Maemo),
2) double the RAM,
3) at least double (if not quadruple) the internal storage,
4) 5way Dpad (looks like it has a trackball -- I don't like trackballs)
5) better quality than the typical Chinese commodity devices (esp. at that price)
6) dedicated number row (instead of the function buttons above the qwerty row)
7) control key (for the right thumb, not on the left)
8) put the data/charging port near the space bar not near your left thumb (making it hard to charge and thumb-type at the same time)

It doesn't say how much battery it has ... but as long as it's more than my G1, I'd be happy.
A faster CPU would be nice, but not strictly necessary ... and T-Mobile 3G would be nice, but also not strictly necessary. Styled more like an HTC Touch Pro2, Nexus One, or Nokia Mako would be nice, too ... but also not strictly necessary.

It would be interesting if they put a more plain phone face on the back of the screen (12 key keypad, small screen for call/dialing info, call control buttons, ear piece and mic). But that's far from necessary.

But, that's a lot closer to what I want, in form-factor, than most other devices.

Cool concept, but doesn't seem portable enough

no thanks seem to big and bulky and the specs regarding the internal memory is a joke.
