My problem is if Silverlight appears in MeeGo it will be Microsoft's implementation and this will probably mean closed-source and possibly a restrictive license.
Wouldn't it make sense to use Moonlight? At least the source code is available and no restrictive license too.
MeeGo is an open platform. The last thing we need is to start polluting it with proprietory solutions.
