Did you read my last post ?? if you are not going to contribute don't even reply to my threadd. I thought this community was kool and thats how u treat someone who is new and wants to know more about the system? thanks a lot for these guys who help me out i don't know how to install pythong package in order to install FMMS

mapper is quite a good google maps replacement and if you want voice navigation then you could try sygic,
dont know about disconnecting of your 3g, have you posted about this problem before?
and MMS has been sorted by the fmms app as already stated.
Hope you keep your N900 as you really have something special there in your hand. (and that should be the only thing in your hand while surfing the internet...)
