i would be more interested in streaming files from ps3 too n900 because i have on my ps3 many videos....

This just works by default. Just open Media Player and you will see your media server in the bottom left corner of main screen. (At least for mp3 it works for me fine - I haven't try movies yet though.)

I can make my n900 share its media to my network with mediatomb (keeping this thread on topic) but this isn't much use if the ps3 can't view the videos I've taken.
