I think my white spots are from an overheated chip behind the screen or something. Here is an example if the size of mine. In the n900 browser in the title bar it is the same length as the word maemo and at the o it goes down the height of the title bar. A perfect 90 degree angle although the spot itself is blotchy. I will see if I can get a pic of it later.
