No there hasn't
But TBH, it's part and parcel of any forum. After moderating on the official forum of a musician for some years, and now running my own forum, just gotta make sure everyone shows restraint.
Some people will take a simple innocent post as a personal attack on them. It's partly caused by the language barrier and the mix of different slang terms.

you forgot peoples personal problems and their intent on venting them out on a random person.

I think it's the nature of forums to have negativity. People generally come to forums when they have problems, people that wouldn't normally post on forums. It's rare to see a normal customer who's satisfied with a product posting on a forum to say how everything is fine, as nothing would really be gained from it. If there is a problem people will post to find out what's going on, if other people have experienced it, and if it can be fixed.

I can foresee the future of this thread:
just another lame, quasi-intellectual pro et contra debate with main question these days : nokia is dumping us, why?

I disagree. This used to be a place where like minded people shared knowledge, showed off hacks done to the older tablets, etc. Forums are not just about whining.
ps. since when the community has had customers? The community doesn't sell the devices. Why complain to them?

When I first joined this place was the most hostile environment I had ever come across. You couldn't say anything negative about the N900 or Nokia without people reacting like you had called their mother a prostitute.
Now it seems it is less hostile place and the negative force has grown stronger. I think this is a mixture of the fact many people have come to realise the N900 has so many issues so there are many more negative comments and the hostile N900 defenders have realised it is not a case of a few iphone trolls but a really long line of people who have genuine issues with the N900.
Not really, sorry.
