Of course they areinstead of Flash 10.1 we're getting this amazing app which eats 85% of CPU and fails to compete with Android live desktop
i think they are testing this thing with a possibility to include this in MeeGo

The Android Live backgrounds aren't much better at CPU usage and battery consumption than the Live Wallpapers the N900 has. In both cases it's one of those things people use to show off, and then promptly turn off.

thats nice, although I would like other types too soon i hope. like maybe a watter pond that u could play with the fish or wind blowing on flowers. and must be HD.

Haven't tested this yet, but I think the idea is pretty nice. There are lots of very useful apps in the repos, so there's some room eye candy too.

i guess this app conflicts with other desktop apps because after activating Gas-balls and underlaying it on the desktop, after closing Gas-balls, i can't activate widgets and shortcuts anymore by touching.
i think they are testing this thing with a possibility to include this in MeeGo
