My response is - fine, enjoy what you like and move on. No one here is jealous. We are Maemo users out of choice. Owning and developing for a device like the N900 is a pleasure, and committing time and effort to building your near perfect device is even more of a pleasure for the common user. Programmer or not.
As far as Nokia is concerned - they made bad decisions. Most here are not fan boys. Symbian will do well, and Meego - well they have plenty of time to see where WP7 go wrong and where Android missed an audience. I will wait patiently and make a well informed choice. But probably - actually most likely - I will pick the platform thats not only fun to use but actually wants me to get involved. That there is the difference between different user bases. I suspect thats where the OP and some other former TMO members went wrong.
