Problems is NOT related to nitdroid. As a matter of fact, nitdroid installation may even help to prevent this happening. See details here,

Had the problem. Reflashed to stock PR 1.3 kernel. No problems now. Just d/ling my apps again now after I restored the backup.

As for flashing on Win 7 64, I just did it and it worked fine.

I tried to do it on Ubuntu in Virtualbox but it was giving me trouble with installing the flasher so I said "f*** it" and used Win7 64 after all. No problems (just be sure to download the correct .bin .)

Okay... it appears as if having multiboot installed and upgrading kernel power causes the problem. Specifically, multiboot specifies

2.6.28.10power40

the upgrade to kernel power removes that and multiboot can't boot.

In my case, the multiboot option 0 which should do a stock kernel has also stopped working, so I suspect I need to reflash my rootfs.

However, if people have other ideas, let me know.

then when maemo boots, xterm and nitdroid-uninstall
then apt-get install --reinstall -y kernel-power kernel-power-flasher

Why do you recommend nitdroid-uninstall?
