Having MSFS-guy exploring with Meego-tablets and prototype-phones doesn't help much Nokia to survive.
I think Elop is a MSFS-guy and he really has to prove otherwise or he will be remembered in history as a Trojan-horse-guy.
I think if the community wants this Meego device we should all send an email to Stephen Elop registering our interest in purchasing such a device the more the merrier.
The way I see it the release of such a device is not a given and if we can get enough people emailing Stephen Elop it may at least secure this one Meego device.
I have included his email address stephen.elop@nokia.com so guys/gals start emailing away!

As long as Elop (owns hundreds of thousands of MSFT stocks which he could have sold last autumn many times) is the CEO, Nokia won't use Meego to anything else but prototype-phones or prototype-tablets. The main intend is to learn and try to bring same benefits to Microsoft so far 14 year failed mobile "ecosystem".
Now the discussions are over and the deals have been made public he is now no longer considered an insider and will be able to resume trading Nokia and MS shares and he claims he will sell the remainder of his MS shares and invest in Nokia. I'm not sure why he didn't buy Nokia shares when he was selling his MS shares (maybe there is a good reason). This doesn't mean I trust him and what he claims, but it is at least plausible.

he's the 7th biggest individual shareholder, which translates to less than 0.1% of total shares.
