I have to disagree about the 800 being fragile. I dropped mine at the mall ann it bounced across the floor, and a few days later my 2 year old slid it off the kitchen table onto thee tile. The aluminium face has a minor dent but it is working fine.

Also,when I am holding it, iflip down the stand and slide my hand between the stand & the 800. makes holding it easier and more confortable... at least for me... plus I prop it up on the stand to watch movies,so I disagree about the stand beng useless too.

wow thanks a lot for the overwhelming response, im trying to see how cheap i can get a n800 now in the UK, doing some research with ebay !

Excellent summary pycage.

Some people complain about the slightly smaller buttons.
