I had the worst one. My N900 went through an infinite loop. Booted into maemo and the screen became messed up and then it died and reboot again and repeat the same thing all over.

I think my problems are related to conflicted libs and QTs stuff that I installed. I end up reflashing it and start from nothing again. Everything now works with CSSU 14.1.

Huge tread, yes, but only 10 pages about latest update before your post. How come that I know that and I didn't install latest update yet?

I am Not able to install Updates for Maemo 5 community ssu package. it ask me creat back up but nothing happenend after back up.it is also saying to update this version of the operating system you must use nokia pc suit on your pc. Please hep me how can i update?

In xterm, type:

apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr

Please people - I know its difficult - but fire up that chunk of flesh within your skull and READ!!! the CSSU thread. This question has been answered AT LEAST 10 times in it. Sure I could answer it for you in this thread - but then you wouldn't learn anything

Whilst the error message is exceedingly obvious in cause, with an equally obvious solution to those of us with even a modicum of Unix or Linux experience, your attitude is reminiscent of 1993 and the whole RTFM era - would it kill you to write a couple of words to help out. Does the thread title really matter?

Honestly, and I mean no disrespect, but your tone is doing a disservice to every positive vocal proponent of the CSSU. Currently there are 279 pages with 2788 responses. Either answer the question here, provide a direct link to the specific comment that deals with the solution, or be polite and say nothing. I'd say you probably should do the latter myself.
