Try one of the following commands instead:

flasher -F firmwareImageFile.bin -F emmcImageFile.bin -f

OR

flasher -F emmcImageFile.bin -a firmwareImageFile.bin -f


I know this post is a bit too late. But it could be helpful for someone else out there. Im also facing a flashing problem right now with my N9 to which I havent found a solution yet. So I know the feeling
