I had a similar problem with a "reboot loop" although at times it would get to the point where I could try to launch an application. It would then freeze and enter this loop.

I reflashed OS2006 using the Windoze wizzard and (touch wood) it seems OK again.

Seems you have done all that and more but have you got it sorted ?

Is that legal ?

Here in the UK the Sale of Goods Act would allow you to return them as unfit for intended purpose.

Mmmm...the deluge of 770's here in the UK in recent weeks appear to have come from the USA as they were supplied with US dual voltage chargers and a US-UK convertor. They also lack any CE markings that would I am sure have been on models intended for EU distribution (I also thought it was a legal requirement). I queried with Expansys if Nokia UK would support it as it appeared an import here to which they said yes !

Thanks FunkyFreddy,

I have not gotten things sorted out. To make time even less abundant, I was suddenly bombarded with business trips and a week long Boy Scout camp.

My next step is to call Nokia's international number and see if they'll help. It does seem pretty shady that I can just get stuck with a broken piece of equipment so suddenly.

If anyone has a good suggestion, please let me know.
