It looks like "Vodafone RO" (your operator presumably) is sending bogus Cell Broadcast SMS messages.
Other than that, I dont know what could be wrong or how to deal with your problem.

What do you see if you turn off "Cell Broadcast Enabled" in the settings, do you see an operator name or do you see nothing?

If I turn off "Cell Broadcast Enabled" I see operator name but only after reboot.

ok, I have uploaded another version that fixes issues Sicelo had and should also fix your problem 654321

654321, please do the following test:
1.Open the control panel and enable all 3 checkboxes
2.Open ssh or xterm or whatever and remove the operator-name-cbs-widget package
3.Reboot the phone
4.Remove the files /home/user/cbsms.log and /home/user/opername.log
5.Download the new version from http://www.cncmods.net/files/operato..._0.1_armel.deb and install it
6.Reboot the phone
7.Verify that you get correct operator name and (where its sent) cell broadcast SMS display. If you do not, please paste the contents of both the /home/user/cbsms.log and /home/user/opername.log

Note that the source code is also fully up to date with the .deb file.

After reboot, operator name appears but after a few minutes disappears.
I switch from 2G to 3G and back but no operator name.

cbsms.log
opername.log

654321, I dont know whats up but I think the problem is that your operator is sending bogus Cell Broadcast SMS messages.
Can you verify that turning off cell broadcast makes the operator name work fine when you switch between 2G and 3G and stuff?

654321s cbsms.log looks like the operator name string isn't
null terminated.
