I guess that with the certificate update that came with 1.3.1 the supl.nokia.com certificate was made invalid (both nokia's and google's are known for expiring from time to time..)
Which means our N900s don't trust supl.nokia.com, but they still trust supl.google.com. Other Nokias, other certificates -> they may still work OK with supl.nokia.com (at least my E75 does).
Do you mean that a new security certificate was included with the update 1.3.1, and this new certificate is invalid or exipred?
Or maybe the certificate was not checked at all before update, but after update it is checked, and the certificate was not included with the update?
Would it be possible to download a new certificate somewhere?
That should solve the problem in both cases?
No idea. I know that PR1.3.1 removed some root certificates (but this in itself should not affect supl.nokia.com), but perhaps (1) the SSL certs are now checked more thoroughly *and/or* (2) the supl.nokia.com certificate has expired.
Or maybe the certificate was not checked at all before update, but after update it is checked, and the certificate was not included with the update?
Would it be possible to download a new certificate somewhere?
