Some minor updates in 0.3.9-4 (currently in Extras-Devel, coming to -Testing soon):
  • "FM transmitter" button in the App Menu
  • Support for HTTP streaming (for podcasts from inside gPodder) - that's bug 8795

Just installed 0.3.9-4 and it looks good, albeit still not fixing the visual issue I reported above.

FM Transmitter enabler is useful to avoid switching apps in case you forgot to enable it. I haven't tried streaming from gPodder but I just might now that Panucci supports it.

Also, I can't get "Auto-play on headset" to work. Could it be clashing with headphoned?

This does not work headphones, only with headsets at the moment. (The definition of "headset" here being headphones with microphone, like Bluetooth headsets and the included headphones as opposed to normal headphones without a microphone.)

I don't think it's clashing with headphoned, as headphoned + Panucci is the combination I use to play most mixes on the N900 nowadays, and I'm using "Auto-play on headset" all the time. Please try to reproduce it with the included cable headset.

As far as I can tell, the missing dependency is python-osso. Reported at https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/ind...=769&atid=2876

I really love this app and use it daily. Couple questions/requests.

Is it possible to make panucci pause playback when call arrives and countinue play when call is over?

And also i would like to see better way to add files to playlist than one file at time. Like directory at time. I use Panucci to play audiobooks and my audiobooks are ripped from cd's. So theres like 10 files per cd. Ive been trying to join all mp3's together. But looks like Panucci can only play mp3's that lenght is ~30 minutes.

Thanks.

Mh, in extras I can only find 0.3.9-2, not -4?

When I play audiobooks with some 15-16 hours in one file, it works as it should, except from the fact that panucci often skips an hour or two. When I open panucci, it remembers where to continue play, but when I press play it skipps a number of random hours. This does not happen every time, and I haven't figured out what triggers this behaviour.

Which is the preferred bug tracker for Panucci now, bugs.maemo.org or https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?group_id=769 ?
