I think this one is new:

In the settings menu, when you press the top bar, there's an option to type in a code to remove the operator sim-lock.

I have never ever seen this kind of built-in option. Isn't it weird?

I used to be able to do video call to n900 when initiaited from Linux PC (empathy/telephaty) or from n8x0 with Jabber account (OVI). After PR1.2 update n8x0 don't allow any kind of internet call to n900, only IM.

Can anyone confirm this new "feature"?

I don't know for sure, but I think that the mediaplayer used to have a seperate volume bar, but now that bar controls the general volume.

Is my memory broken? If it isn't this is a good improvement!

The bars weren't separate - they just weren't linked previously when they should have been.

I concur. How do I input "New Moon 18:27" or "Lunar Eclipse 22:18 - 22:53"?

just read up on here about re arranging the main menu and it's a pretty nifty thing.
worked fine for me. I have all my daily used apps right where I need them .
Also the back button on the browser is a great add on.
The browser is also noticeably smoother and faster than 1.1.
