expansys is a good company, and if you are in the USA, then you may not know that DHL is a normal, large UPS-like carrier through out the rest of the world. so that is fine.

That is very interesting. Amazon UK switched release from Oct 26th to Nov 2nd about a fortnight ago, but they have not updated since. I begin to wonder whether they might have known something the rest of us didn't.

But mostly that's me trying to stave off the cravings...

The dutch nokia site still mentions the end of October.

But a different question. Am I the only one who thinks that the statement made by the head of Maemo marketing (Peter Schneider) is no official statement at all? Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE has copied this information from a single post where it was casually mentioned.

There was no official press statement or anything like that. I personally still believe that it will be deliverd end of October or beginning of November, still, could be naieve for that, but so be it.

At the end of the day, no one really knows. I just find it strange that the news was adapoted that quickly. Why not believe a store employee when he says 4th of November? They both probably know just as much.

Anyway, awaiting the device anxiously, but just wondering if anyone else gave this some thought.

I got a mail from katshing stating the phone wouldn't start shipping to Sweden until late January 2010

I don't know what to believe anymore
