Ok, I now understand what is happening. Wasn't sure if there was an issue, or if I was doing something wrong.

Look strange, settings save well here, look in your /home/user/.config/Trolltech if there is a directory "FM RDS ..."

I don't have a folder called Trolltech, just a file Trolltech.conf, which does not contain anything beginning RDS...

I have created that folder, and edited my widget settings and tried to save, and no folder is created. I'll uninstall and reinstall and post results.

thanks

Ok,uninstalled, and reinstalled and re-added to the desktop, and there is still no sign of a directory, or a file beginning RDS.

Also been into the app after reinstallation and edited some settings, and no file gets created.

What is this thing called? Can't seem to find it in the repos (and yes I have them all activated).

Is it FM RDS Notify?

The button is very picky, but it should work if you press it just right. It usually takes me a few presses to get it on. It would be helpful if the button changed color to let you know you pressed it. Still, I do love this widget.
