Sounds perfect think the n9 is out in the wild by then so you can read about and see how nokia handles the release and support. Anyone seen/heard/read how nokia is planning to use meego in their devices. Are we still looking at a rate of every second year?

Next time, it's better to ask me than assume. Saying something isn't optimized doesn't make it inferior. Whatever fanatical approach you want to apply to it does not apply here.

Unoptimized today means more than likely optimized in the near future. No tech is perfect, so improvement is to be understood. Seriously dude, there's nothing more than that to it.

Then I can say - that final version will never-ever be released, except for maybe low-q knockoffs. Every vendor will do their optimizations. That's why you can't say 'ready'. MeeGo 1.1 might not have functionality/service X, or might sluggish because of driver Y, but that does not mean products based on it don't have that sorted out (just like you count the services Google provides towards Android features even though they are not part of the core OS features).
Stop being daft. By final, I meant exactly what I said before. Allow me to say it again, in smaller words.

Can it be purchased today, with all functionality built-in?

Yes/No.
