i seem to be experiencing an increase in battery drain. I'll keep an eye on it for now, maybe reflash if it persists. There doesn't seem to be any processes going wild under top though.

i have installed kp49, nitdroid and replaced transitions file. so installing cssu testing will cause any problem ? or i have to flash my device in order to install cssu ?

lol. i oredy follow it. i even followed this:

but it replaces the cssu camera ui when i install those 3 debs. basically it downgrades it. so m a bit confused.

you dont need install caméra files just install hd codecs.

for HD video playback. i just did all these::

1. Download attached .deb files on your n900 in a directory of your choice

2. from xterm as root cd to that directory and install .deb files
dpkg -i omap3-dsp-baseimage-ti_0.i3.6-15+0m6_armel.deb omap3-dsp-libraries-ti_0.i3.6-15+0m6_armel.deb omap3-dsp-hd-codecs_0.3.8-7+0m6_armel.deb

3. from attached libgstdsp.zip copy libgstdsp.so to your n900 /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstdsp.so

4. uninstall gstreamer0.10-openmax from n900. As root:

apt-get remove gstreamer0.10-openmax

anything else i shud do for HD recording?

Entire battery took less than 12 hours to drain with very little usage. It's charging at the moment before doing a reflash (combined and emmc) to see if it is reproduced. Hopefully it's unrelated but I haven't installed anything else for a while.

Surprisingly firmware site doesn't list the latest firmware, just plain ol' pr 1.3.
