secure/lock device and then
cat /proc sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure
u should see 100 bt wtf i am seeing 1000 written

bt for try if change value to 100 as

echo 100>> /proc sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure
then lock device and then

cat /proc sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure

it happened again to me when i removed the battery patch?? (couldn't work that out) so i did what i did yesterday and fingers crossed it's stil ok.
Could not find any trace of patches on /home/user, but applied patch-removals, bash-reinstall and reboots (including battery removal). Problem remains.

Edit: After removing Speedpatch I still have this folder:

Code:
Nokia-N900:/dev/cgroup/cpu/user# ls
2288
BTW when I ssh to my N900 (as root) I do not have these lines
Code:
.bashrc: line 5: cannot create /dev/cgroup/cpu/user/2056/ notify_on_release: nonexistent directory

just checked mine again, turn it off at night and problem is not there this morning, i did go all the way through the thread and any removal instruction i saw i did enter into xterm. it took ages but fingers crossed i think i've got it beat probably till i update or re-install the new battery patch.
drove me crazy whenever it kept showing up, i was really close to reflash

PS: if you didn't receive the update
wait a bit more cause i have just uploaded it to extras

@ammyt and every one else having that error
The point of that error in the newest version is just to tell you if speedpatch is activated or not
if it appeared that means speedpatch is not activated

TBH in my N900 i don't get that error except after an unexpected reboot
i have R&D mode disabled

i have kernel-power v47 (v48 is buggy)

@TransTech
i just say
don't force anything with speedpatch
read the above
and i think people who uses stock kernel
speedpatch doesn't work with them (not sure)
i'm using KP-48 now, but i had also installed spead-patch before.. i.e when it was not in repos (on Kp-47), both the time i got same result..

p.s. i have CSSU, kp-48, H/W Acc On, and lots of apps, lots of widgets on 5 homescreens.. luckily i have back-up menu which saved me...or else i had to flash my N900...

I know all n900s are not same, maybe tahts problem but i'll try once again and tell you...

I have proven to change profiles, voltages, etc.. Nothing at all, it only resets.

I changed to version "non-kp" and seems to be better.

using battery patch kp version from last 12 hrs got 5 reboots 4 while idle and 1 while on the call. it saves battery but more than that it reboots.
i am using it with
:kp 47
:no speedpatch :
no cssu

karam find a solution to this reboot problem and simply removing through FAM will remove the battery patch completely or manual removal is required?

thank you

ps: got 4 more reboots in last 15 mins like a reboot loop. goin to remove battery patch.
