Well don't know really what to say.. as I stated I loved the idea of having two devices. A nice tablet with a big screen and my phone.
I didn't like much the fact I couldn't connect from the Tablet straight away without resorting to bluetooth.
Now this is a phone.. and I think it's way smaller than the N810/N800.. that makes for a smaller screen at higher resolution.
HTC got one of those, and I think it would have been better at 4" as it was before...
Hopefully the next one.

However, it does show that renaming the app to start with "A" was a good idea :-)

After the dust has settled, two main questions remain for me; Do you think we will be able to overclock the A8 and i hope someone will dev an S60 emulator so i can run a legacy app.
That and ever since Eldars preview, i suddenly lost any interest in any other platform. Its a liberating feeling...

Planned by whom ? Eldar, Nokia or both ? Nokians here were adamant they don't do intentional leaks and considering the speed their legal team pulled various leaked images I'd say they care about that quite a bit. Even Eldar backpedalled a bit with regard to what he was about to show (i.e. left out exact specs apart from those already leaked), I doubt that could be a result of anything else but a phone call from Nokia...

The Kindle isn't suited for movie-watching, it's black and white. But it is fine for email, and free is a good price. It's not that slow. I have far more agonizingly slow ordeals on my N800 and N810 than on my Kindle, mainly because the KIndle isn't so ambitious. It does a very good job at what it does, rather than doing a poor job at an incredible array of things.
I know, this isn't a Kindle thread. But it seems so brave and contrarian a direction -- instead of color, black and white! Instead of forcing people to pay heavy monthly charges, give the connection away!
I'm no expert, but I don't see that kind of courage in the N900. It combines a bunch of technological trends; I don't see anything original about it. It's just geek++

in this video we can see, that the buttons are barely seeable if the n97 is switched off.
also we can see, how fast the n97 boots. the rover should boot even faster...
