Nokia has been quoted as saying "November", so I would expect the different later dates some are seeing are pushback dates based on not wanting their systems to keep reporting the product as backordered and past due- This reduces the amount of system data churn the product goes through within their logistics system.

They got that from Nokia that N900 dont coming 2009, and it will come late Januari 2010, and that not promissed from Nokia.

The Register are today quoting Nokia's Head of Maemo Marketing as saying:
We expect it to start shipping during November 2009.

Probably something to do with this:

3 Mobile SIM card rejected
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5315

Nokia is targeting a fix for the end of December. Maybe N900 is delayed in Sweden due this?

Hopefully it's just a firmware update, or will they have to update the baseband? If so that could push back availability considerably. Yikes

Actually looking at these Other significant bugs I don't see how they can release it.
