It is OK. If you don't like it - use a small modification (thanks titan) -

renice 1 `psgrep modest`

It works more accurate (I didn't expect that pgrep cmd does exist on N900, shame me).

after I installed this Kernel-Flasher-Maemo to my n900 from app manager I type this code

sudo gainroot[enter]
echo 1000000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq[enter]

I think its faster then before
but am I did it right?? or is there other way to do overclock n900??

Shini... are you complaining that your N900 is shutting down and generally not functioning correctly when you overclock it to 1200MHz? Because that's stupid. If you don't like your N900 you can just throw it out the window instead of frying it from the inside. DO NOT OVERCLOCK SO MUCH, DO NOT GO OVER 800MHz!

Titan:
I upgraded from 20 to 21 (my /etc/pmconfig has a max scaling of 800mhz), and my N900 did not boot. I've since rolled back to 20. I could not find a change long for 21, so I don't know what could have caused it, any ideas?

I would assume so? It showed up in my Application Manager updates. I'll give 22 a shot tonight, I was upgrading from your experimental LV 20 (which seems to work perfectly for me BTW).
Is there a place where you are keeping a changelog between all of your kernel versions? It would be extremely helpful in helping me decide if/when to update from 20

Titan,

I just started testing maemo22 and when i run dmesg | grep warning i get the following message, sorry if this has been covered somewhere else I've searched around and haven't found anything.

[50824.759521] warning: 'avahi-daemon' uses 32-bit capabilities (legacy support in use)

Should I worry about this?

no, this is not related to the kernel as avahi is 3rd party software you installed.
