A re-install (remove/install - app only) should give You a clean set of config files...
At least if You do it on the commandline:
After this reinstall the package.Code:root apt-get purge mobile-maps
P.S. I'm not sure if Mobile Maps 10 has a new package name as I haven't installed it (waiting for OVI version).
