I checked the mail I got earlier in Autumn and I have to apologize, since this was how they actually answered: "Ei huolta, emme ole vielä lähettäneet koodia. Lähetämme vasta myöhemmin lisätietoja puhelimen tilaamisesta." -> "No worries, we haven´t sent the code yet. We will send more information how to order/receive the phone later."

So either they changed their minds and the codes are the same (wouldn´t be surprised) or the code will be sent soon with the rest of the information.

I think we get the code/queue numbers after completed payment. They don't really have any orders yet which means they cant ship or create quese and priorety.So my guess is that all preorders get a mail and the once that pay fastest get lowest queue number and give phone first. 100 40 0 doesn't matter. But they have enough devices to send to all preordersbefore going to open sales in stores.

You are right. It's the same. I have a typo on my username and haven't noticed it on chrome as I have username filled automatically.

So when do ya'll reckon most pre-orders around the world will have had it shipped (or started) to them?

Depending on when Jolla targets the respective countries, I guess. I assume so called pre-orders from the USA will have to wait at least until the phone gets through FCC... which could well mean „never“ if FCC is too much of a trouble for a company is small as Jolla.

I couldn't give a toss about the USA, but no doubt there's a few here that do...


To clarify:
At no point was this meant to be an affront to the US or any individual, I was simply saying I couldn't care less about US availability.

I'm very glad you're not in charge of anything that has to do with business for Jolla.
