titan ok, you might add it on your summarized wiki page (great work between), got just a last question left, which is:

Nokia-N900-51-1:~# uname -a
Linux Nokia-N900-51-1 2.6.28.10maemo-lv-omap1 #1 PREEMPT Sat Apr 10 09:13:19 CEST 2010 armv7l unknown

the "unknown" does this behaviour affect all custom kernels? is there a fix about it? if not it means we have to remember to reinstall the stock kernel before we are able to upgrade t PR1.2?

Interrogative - Why you dont use 125mHz frequency anymore?

Package mp-fremantle-generic-pr is not available, but is referred by another packages.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted or is only available from another source.
E: Package mp-fremantle-generic-pr ahs no installation candidate

Is there a way to make low freq 125MHz permanent?
I have 124999 in pmconfig and after boot device is running at 125MHz, utill first call. Then it change to 250MHz and stays there.

Is there a crontab or similar workaround available to set it 125Mhz after calls?
Other than "echo 124999 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq"

Otherwise your uvl kernel (@850 & 900MHz) has been totally problem free on my N900. Thank for good job!

Or it simply means that you don't have the generic version installed, but rather a country specific one (e.g. UK). Do apt-cache search mp-fremantle-* to see what is available in your repo

Unfortunately,no there is no other workaround than to set it after the phone call again.
The telephone app is too broken and ignorant
It would be nice if someone could write a daemon that every minute or so resets the minimum and checks to the temperature to lower the maximum freq. dynamically.
The battery-eye daemon could a good start.
