I tried this experimental ofono047s oril009 but it dont work.
i am not able to send sms, receiving is no problem.

And it will not work for YOUR case. And NEVER will.

WFM, so any "fail" reports without logs are USELESS: I will NOT do anything, suspecting you just "applied" update incorrect.

keeps telling me to touch the android. but i do and nothing happens. installed via emmc.

Guys i had problem after installed nitdroid on EMMC. low memory space problem? Hmm.. any help please...!

I tried the sms fix but it doesn't work good. A friend of my will receive messages but a other friend not. Doen anyone else have the same problem?


This is what I have done:

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d ofono047s_oril009.tar.bz2
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/ofono047s_oril009.tar

That's good right?

If you have installed it into your emmc yes it should be fine.
No problem for me to send/receive having installed it into a sd card.

got passed that. now its telling me my SD card is damaged and keeps damaging my mamo kernel and power kernel everytime I boot into Android. I have to reflash maemo and then reinstall the other kernel. am trying an MMC install now but am not holding my breath.

i can confirm that sms function is working with the new ofono update
