I have tried the new meerar thingy. Installation did not work properly. I tried to remove it and now I have the message

"dpkg-deb (subprocess): data: internal gzip write error. Broken pipe."
Amd some others....

I tried to install System UI but it failed with similar messages...

Any idea ?

Do you have installed unrestricted sys-ui before trying to install System Menu Extension ?
Try to uninstall meerar from "Manage apps"

Before you trying to install this, i think you don't uninstalled previous version, that named system-ui-extension.
Uninstall it ! Do it from "manage apps" or from terminal as root:
apt-get remove --purge -y system-ui-extensions
Reboot your phone and try tweak T again.

I love you man!!! I like that O function and i got lol when i see that desktop button . Like my face, when my download limit have been achieved. Can you make it working like this:
when it's wait your downloading and when it is finished. It going back to waiting mode? so i can backup many files at the same time.. else i have to always type my password for root.

Tried to reinstalled 8.8 with still no success; broken pipe on the internal gzip...
Then removed QT8.8, rebooted, installed QT8.6 and now everything is fine.
Will try to install over QT8.8, remove system-ui-extension and update with T menu option.

Hi
The first idea of this icon - is a quick catching of ONE app.. But ok, I will try to add option "catch again"...
I give you, and to ALL, a little tip
If you know that you go to catch a few apps at the same time, you need to open N9QT and now if you want to catch for example 4 apps, just press "O" a 4 times, separated by one space like: o o o o, then press enter. When it catch your first app, it will automatically go again to tweak O
You can use the same trick in the other tweaks to.. For example you want to try a different colors of refresh button from tweak FF. But you know, for seeing the changes the homescreen need to be refreshed and when your refresh homscreen it will close ALL your apps..
Here you can do the same like in tweak O, but without refresh. For example you wan to see 2 colors of refresh button, how it looks on your homescreen. Press: ff ff ff ff, then press enter. The first you need remove existed button, the second for apply new button - and now you can immediately see the result on your homescreen, if you don't like this color you can continue, remove -> apply -> remove -> apply etc... You can do this how much you want...

P.S. Ok, i Added option "catch again" to icon
P.S.2 I also completely changed the tweak O, and now you don't need to use this trick that i explained before, now you can catch again directly from tweak

Man... Like I explained before, version 8.6 use DIFFERENT system UI app, you need to uninstall it from your system. it use "system-ui-extensions" and for uninstall it frm your system you need to ran this command as root from terminal:
Code:
apt-get remove --purge -y system-ui-extensions
or if you don't know to use terminal, just do it from tweak T, but IN VERSION 8.6 !
After this, reboot your phone and you can install 8.8 over 8.6 and you can use Tweak T (option 2) that will install "system-menu-extensions"
Good luck...
