if jolla take the piss with releasing the device to the UK can they just hurry up and release Sailfish, but am lacking here, is Sailfish the OS and the Android compatibility layer? Since otherwise it would be pretty useless to manufactures.

what I am eager to find out:
-system wide copy paste! first thing I will look for, if they seem to have dropped the ball on this I will abandon hope for a mobile future as it was envisioned in 2009..
-sound recording: E71 - PV 808 rich sound recording level or distortion madness
-will Firefox APK + add-ons run smooth and energy friendly?
-will Jitsi Alpha for Android run
-integrated full featured XMPP as well as SIP ?
-rights management applications?
-is there hardware and accessible FM transmitter
-how does it coop with a 1m drop on a concrete floor (may need some patience for results to come in)?
-OFFLINE Nokia map + navigation?

does Sailfish OS contain the Android compatibility layer as a core part, or will users have to look at it themselves.
