Thanks, FiSHBoY and dj_steve for your help and my apologies for posting in this thread about issue....

But you were right that file did get extracted...

So, finished the rest of the steps, rebooted, selected Android, pressed enter key (screen says 'center' by the way...) and then after a while, N900 just reboots back to boot menu screen.....

i have one error on command "bzip2 -d NITDroid-N900-0.0.5-1FroYo-GAPPS-Fixed.tar.bz2"

terminal on n900 show me bzip2 not found
why?

sorry for my bad english....

I've risolved with the installation of Xarchiver (do you find it in Extra Devel)

But please, there's a 3d for the problem

Linux Mint is far from compulsory to install android on the N900.

If you don't know anything about Linux and want drop-dead simple instructions, Linux Mint is one of your best choices for variety of Linux to run on your desktop computer. Ubuntu should be just as good.

If you are adept at running Linux, go to town -- I imagine you can run practically any Linux variant and be happy.
