Undoubtedly they have missed their window of opportunity. Shortly there will be a tsunami of ARM-based "smartbooks" coming from the Chinese big guns: probably less innovative, but cheaper, lighter, with better finish and massive manufacturing/distribution capacity. Smart but small outfits like this one won't stand a chance.

I've got the feeling that the touch book is a success among linux enthousiasts/hobbyists/developpers but is not yet ready for the mass consumer market (although the device might prove more useful when they fix a few bugs like sleep/standby mode not working ... which should happen soon when you read their roadmap ...)

it seems to be heading into similar territory as openmoko, except that its internal USB and such makes it more flexible. I dont think it will have a interest for joe average until it hits amazon or similar.
