That means you have app manager open. close that first.

And please note that using apt-get can mess up your device if you don't know what you're doing.

is 87% used space in rootfs enough for the update?

Also its not showing up for me yet

I just tried updating OSA (US phone in germany on t-mobile) and was told by the update that I have use the PC update software.

Bummer, OHA is so much easier.

No, it's not enough. You need more than 45Mb which means you can only have ~80% used or less.

Sorry Viny I am unsure if you can. Look in the uninstall app section if the update is listed then posibly? If not the only other thing I could find was a lack of memory.

If you get "Not enough memory" during sw update, then it might apps from extras testing/development. Remove those or use NSU.

no its still saying the same ive closed it and even done a full reboot.

what were i supposed to do after that anyways?

i dont think u can either it says maemo 5 and shows the current firmware and shows a new update is here but not installable. it doesnt show lack of memory at all.

just got it done with apt-get. ran out of disk space but reboot + asking dpkg nicely to continue where it was before interrupt did almost the trick.

apt-get -f install did the rest and when rebooting saw cool new progress bar that has nokia logo

portrait mode to browser confirmed

Im upto 40.7Mb free or 82% now. Ok. Lets see if we can get this down a little. Thanks
