Hmm, I don't know then... Maybe test with some different image? Before you changed the .ini file was it working like in this post: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...9&postcount=27 ?

yeah it had the original theme lockslider image but the whole point of me installing this app so i could have personalised background images then have boring theme wallpapers!

Yeah, but it's working fine for many people, so I'm not sure what's going wrong with yours. Test a different image. Or failing that, go back to the initial .ini file and replace /etc/hildon/theme/backgrounds/lockslider.png instead.

TimeFormat="hh:mm AP" should keep the time & date widget at a constant size

TimeFormat="h:mm AP" would mess the size of the widget

but never mind , sorted it out .

do you know how to replace the date ?

What i did,

- created separated widgets.
- one widget for time
- one for AM/ PM
- another one just for date


This way I had more control over my lock screen. Hope this helped u man
