Are the tablets termite proof?

I'm sure they can be debugged.

that should be exlained in the missing blog post. I will call interpol. its been missing for 64 days.

I am sure it is not missing. I am sure we will find that all this time it was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard'.

I'd rather have the tablet sooner than the blog post explaining the display. Also, I know what the display thing is about, so who cares really.

so whats up with screen then? same res, ratio and color?

Day 1: Let's pick components (that includes the screen)
[technology advances]
Day 120: Oh, crap, the screen isn't fully compatible with the rest of the components -or- that particular model has a fault that will be too obvious and detrimental to our product, must use a different one.

Because technology advanced, the new screen will have slightly blacker blacks, slightly better colours, it will consume slightly less electricity, the pixel's changes to fail will be slightly less and so on. The new screen is better because it's chosen in day number 120, that's all.

The supplier refused to keep the cost of the screen low enough for the tablet price point (perhaps tablet volume levels were too low to get a sufficient bulk discount - and we all know how reluctant Jolla are to buy more of something than they think they'll need; just look at the phone battery fiasco), so Jolla cancelled and started looking for a cheaper component
