So what's your point really?

It's an speculation thread. That's the whole purpose of that. If we should dismiss any clue based on lack of proof, we can readily close this thread.

Your position of discrediting any possible clue is not "protecitng" this thread of any spread of misinformation - we aren't children here, we don't need cops to keep an eye on lying or fake tipsters.

I got my fair share of inside information as well, and it's not that different from what was said so far, nor adds more to discussion. Nokia is BIG, so it's not that difficult to get snippets of info, specially at a dev site like this one, where some of the most involved guys lurk and post around.

don't let the heat of the argument make you brake your NDA after all.
even if you returned the device, the NDA still bears.
i can't help feeling you are already in enough trouble in NOKIA's books without giving them an excuse to terminate you.
Point. Heh you're looking out for me Thanks mate

I will keep things on low now and lets see what happens. I am yet to see qwerty phone.. should be interesting.

What amuse me is that in one of your posts you say you wanted to stop every info related to the VKB device because you dont give credit to some people who says otherwise, but man you forget this is precisely the purpose of this chatting to speculate until an official announcement its done.
Now some people believe K123 or zehjotkah and others not... this is a choice but lets get calm and give K123 a break until we get the info everybody is waiting, shall we?
as i posted before, i'm perfectly fine w/ speculating and readily admit i'm not doing anything more myself, but Koajwujwer123 isn't speculating.
he states (without being able to provide proof, even only for administrative reasons)

I really hope Nokia adopts similar policy as HTC or Samsung i.e. releasing both devices to general public, says N9 and N9Pro.

you are welcome
i have been carried away (even on this board as you certainly noticed) about N950, so much that most of the ppl i e-mail w/ about it hardly bother about those any more.
my favourite ever was a sort of photoshoped N96 w/ a slided out num pad with a navi / click key combo & an allusion to a alpha keyboard that would slide out on the long side ¦-))))))
i took apart my N900 recently and such a constructions (if it was possible) would be a failure asking to happen

let's hope for fresh news from NOKIA soon!

You know he can't provide proof for obvious reasons so it's really an unfair argument on your part. Just wait the next few days and you can rub it in his face if he is wrong..

would be nice, but both Elop & Green (the two TOP guys @ NOKIA) clearly stated there would be only one NOKIA MeeGo device in 2011.

i think the best compromise in that situation would be like Marrat (i think) and myself pointed out a few days ago.
a keyboard device (difference in thickness between N8 & E7 < 1 mm for about 13 mm) and leave it tucked away if you don't want to use it.

Not that it would prove anything, too.

Even if he's legit, plans change everytime. I just think that Maemo.org is a nice place, so people don't need to lie about their devices, priviledged info or NDAs, so it's all in good faith.

We are just having a good fun trying to guess something that will be annouced to the public anyway

Here is another equation:

The Consumer device = N9
Dev Device = N9 + external bluetooth keyboard

Two devices again
