Fake, It turns out my Prof is interested in buying a several for the university, but we're wondering how your price breaks will work on the store-front. E.g. if we want 5, is that equivalent to buying a 3-pack and a 2-pack? Is it even cheaper? Does it have to be two separate orders?
Thanks again for your good work here.

I'm trying to work this out right now. At the moment I am doing the following. As of right now you can buy:

Individual stands:
1. A wooden stand. ($10.00)
2. An acrylic stand. ($17.00)

Home & office packs:
3. A "Home & Office Pack" with one of each. ($22.00)
4. A "Home & Office Pack" with 2 acrylic. ($30.00)
5. A "Home & Office Pack" with 2 wood. ($15.00)

Multiples:
6. 3X acrylic ($45.00)
7. 3X wooden.($20.00)

You can add any combination of these to your cart. The problem for me is that shipping cost goes up very rapidly with weight, so even if I manage to pack 5 in a single envelope for you that actually cuts way into my margins. Would you think that buying a 2 pack and a 3 pack would be a bad deal? It would end up being $35, or $7 each if you did them all in wood (and I think the wood ones are awesome).

Please, everyone, let me know your thoughts.

I like that two packs with one of each is cheaper than two of each.

No, there's absolutely no issue with that, and I get the feeling you're selling them fairly cheaply anyway (the flat-rate shipping sold me right away, for one). I just wanted to be clear on how it was done, so that my prof wouldn't have to read through the thread himself. Thanks!

Do you mean 2X two packs of one each?

$22x2= $44 < 15+30 = $45?

I'm steeply discounting the mixed packs so people don't feel bad about spending the money on acrylic units.

OK, I'm going to go ahead with this. Just a little more testing of my web-shop and I'll start PMing everyone with info on how to order. (it's gonna take FOREVER since the forum only allows one PM per minute)

People who made a reservation here will get a PM with a password to log into the store. I ask that everyone order pretty much exactly what they pre-ordered, so that everyone gets what they wanted. There will be more stands available shortly.

After all or most reservations are satisfied, the store will open to the general public.

Very very late to this fantastic idea, but any chance of reserving a pack of 1 wood + 1 acrylic to the UK please, or should I just wait for the store to open publicly?
Thanks

I'm out of acrylic at the moment. :\ I'll have another batch for when the store opens --

Here's the thing... shipping is probably gonna take 5-12 days overseas anyway, so another day or two won't make a huge difference...

EDIT: tags on this thread get better all the time.

EDIT: I can't make shipping zero, so it's a penny. Whatever.
