Thanks for taking the time to send me this email. I believe we’re finally on top of N900 dispatches and all N900’s will be shipped before the end of this week. My intention is to give the possible service, and we are currently reviewing our systems and processes (those under our control as you say), in order that we do so next time around.

Sorry to have let you down on this occasion and I will take a look at the forum as suggested. There has been a lot of forum misinformation feeding misinformation. One particular comment I read was reported to have come from a member of staff we employ in Guildford Nokia store, who does not exist!

I have to say - the only thing that Karl needs to take from this forum is a lesson in how to communicate to customers...

We know that nearly everything was out of their control, but they never gave us concrete answers. Regular email updates is all they needed to do to keep us in the loop. Sure there was misinformation on here etc etc, but a) Steve got it right, almost down to the day, so he must have been a psychic or something! b) we wouldn't have gone on the misinformation if Karl's lot had kept in contact with us.

Anyway - I hope everyone gets their N900's today - I'm going to migrate to some other threads now to work out how to make this thing even better...

WHAT?! I phoned them Friday and asked if they had walk-in stock and they said no- it'll be a week! I wanted to do the very same...did you just walk in and buy it with no reservation or anything?? May I ask how much you paid?

Oh well, I got a Vodafone upgrade on an 18 month, £35/pm tariff for £90 up front from Nokia flagship Regent St which was less than Nokia Banbury quoted- should be delivered today if I'm lucky.

hi, everyone not posted in a while. I know everyone is frustrated to say the least but wait for it coming. Got mine on friday n it's awesome. Waited 7 long weeks but it's worth it. Makes the iphone look like a cheap alternative. So glad i didn't cancel my order n if u look at some of my old posts i was close on a few occasions. Once u get it u'll forget the anger n be in ore. Good luck 2 everyone expecting deliveries today

Well I called them and got through. You just have to keep calling them mate. If you call once they dont pick up, if you call 10 times they will pick up just because they are getting pissed off with all the "ring ring ring" for 10 minutes

Anyway, they said my PAK code went through on Friday, and my number should port either today or tomorrow.

We will see...

I called Vodafone and they didnt even know who the hell I was lol
