Besides, I think I solved the mystery about this device:

It's most certainly a HTC Desire Z, look at the two-color split and the bottom part of the device.

could well be but I thought I should add it here, speculation seems to be drying up, cant let that happen.

I think it may be worth someone finding out who he was quoting, that will give some clues maybe!

Also "announcements" should mean at least two phones. Maybe Nokia are waiting until meegoconf is over as their Harmattan talks were rejected?

But the WM7 "horse" has a blood lineage tracing back to donkeys such as WM6.5, 6.1, 6.0, 5.1 that was fully neglected for too many years and Microsoft did sweet F all to maintain it (still running on Pocket IE4/6!!).

Indeed!

But "announcements" (in plural), despite it put fuel on the "2 devices" talk, seems too close to the several tablets that Intel will show at Computex.

What could be good news anyway, cause we'll finally have a MeeGo tablet to play with - with phone or not, from Nokia or not.

And didn't LG say that they have a MeeGo handset coming sometime this year?
