Smoku, where did you bought your Dell Streak?
It's still not available in Spain and I would like to get one but I don't want to loose the warranty that I could have buying it directly to Dell.

I never had problems when buying this way. You just sent the device to you reseller, they send it to manufacturer and when it's fixed send it back to you. Yes, it takes time, but generally works.
With Dell it was even simpler. When I thought I killed my Streak by wrong flashing, I've written my reseller "my Streak does not boot". "We're sorry - just send it back to us and we will replace it." No problem.
It turned out that it's impossible to kill Streak by wrong flashing and I eventually got it back running and didn't have to return it. But the service was nice either way.

Thank you very much for your info. My wife is desperate to put her hands into the Streak since I got my N900.
I'm also interested on it although I won't trade my N900 for anything
, specially now that I have Baldur's Gate and Wagic.
