It's not in PR1.2, it's just a forced rotation.

Alrite. Well this could be the start of something beautiful

If this keyboard laout has been added to PR 1,2 by nokia.:

"gconftool-2 --type string /apps/osso/inputmethod/default-plugins/finger -s nameofportraitkeyboard"

This could be entered into xterminal to change the default text input to the portrait keyboard AND also allow that same portrait keyboard in conversations for some portrait texting!
This could be a perfect, just need someone to test it out and then find a way to layout conversations so it supports portrait

I reflashed yesterday, restored all my apps, and broke my dependencies, just to prove there isn't a portrait keyboard (hacked/installed PR1.2 (instructions won't be given, don't ask) on my device).

Oh and post updated with the real browser portrait buttons.

Another thing, no one gave me an image, I installed the packages manually myself (SDK repo not involved)

Great that they have a type to search for applications. Now if only they would enable it from the desktop and add an API so people could add searches from it and what not.

I attended a Nokia presentation last night, and the presenter confirmed that Skype video is coming with PR 1.2, so it isn't just in the bits available through the SDK.

qole, have they mentioned anything more about the PR1.2 than that it is going to be out soon?

EDIT: Oh yes, I just remembered, he promised Ovi paid apps support in 1.2 as well. So finally we can buy our Angry Birds worlds!
