has anybody gotten their yahoo pidgin protocols to work for the conversations after updating...I can see them in my contacts as online, but when i try to send an IM to themfrom the conversations app, it doesnt show them as online...

so i installed PR 1.2, how do you switch to portrait mode?? never mind there is enable rotation option in settings.

Updated to 1.2 by NSU. im from UK using N900(US).

where can i see the video calling option?
portrait mode?

edit: when im updating my phone, on the last few seconds my phone boot up asking me the location,time,date like normal. but NSU say update failed. check my phone and it got the new FW on the setting>about.

Direct video calling is not supported. Only available through skype and gtalk. You will need your skype/gtalk contact to be online - for you to use this function.

Portrait - as niqbal said above, go to settings in the browser and turn on the portrait mode.

We can't access the status bar from phone mode! Someone did mention that it will be in Pr 1.2.

i was looking for the rotation in the setting.. didnt know that its in the browser setting.. got it now!!!

Im going to try skype video call later.. ill update!

Video calling on skype is really good (PC to n900) using Logitech pro 9000 on pc somehow show quality video in the N900.

how did you guys free up fricking 113mb(half the total space) from the rootfs? aside from cleaning the cache, removing extra apps, and application catalogs?
