After doing Tweak W-10 did you try a reboot? If not, please reboot and report...

Ok in terminal enter:
Edit: I don't know why it doesn't work for you but doing the above should remove the backgrounds and a reboot should return to the default black background...If it still doesn't work pls report back...
Edit 2: I think i know why it didn't work for you; You didn't create a backup the first time you opened N9QTweak before running any tweaks...
Edit 3: If you haven't done the above yet I would recommend downloading a clean backup from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17706605/N9Q...up_8.9_all.zip then copying the folder from the .zip into /home/user/MyDocs/ and running tweak w-10 again...

Two things;
Firstly, you don't need to write in colours for people to see
Second can you pls be specific? If i did a tweak that I have issues with I would write: Tweak W-1 or Tweak T-3-2...
Explain what you did and what you want to achieve...
P.S. You didn't answer whether you followed the PDF/Wiki step-by-step...
