I never said it was the biggest. Was just comparing it to a much smaller company called Panasonic. Samsung as a whole is certainly one of the biggest however as you found out. It's too big to even measure if you add what they do all up. The whole group is also single family owned and not by shareholders afaik. Also, when I said no one really knows how big Samsung is, it's true. As the wiki states, no one knows their total global revenue. So those lists aren't accurate at all. (Samsung only reports Korean market revenue. Not global. If they did, it might be at least a few times bigger) Only Samsung's chairman might have an idea. (no one knows how rich he is either. lol)

Anyways, are we even going to find out about anything this month about Nokia's own Meego phone? I'm beginning to think we jumped at it way too soon...

waiting for Nokia N9 device is a pain.
knowing that it will not have a kb is a tragedy.
buying the original N9 with keypad on ebay without guarantee?!
expensive (because all of you would try to get it too ) and risky (guarantee)... .

i think i will buy an E7 this or next week.

Windows Phone 7 is no option.
it is ugly in my opinion.
and why on earth is there an xbox live app
i need a business phone and no gaming toy.

And android ... it only depends on the manufacturer how long your device get an update.
I do not know a single android smartphone that has got more than 2 updates.

in the last 6 years i only used full touchscreen smartphones.
starting with the Motorola A1200 Ming (my first linux phone!).
and I think, I really hate virtual keypads right now!

But IF Nokia releases the smartphone of our dreams (please with Meego or Symbian) ..., there will be always plenty of room in my trouser pocket!

Perhaps it'll make it to my Christmas list. Even so, I will not be jumping ship for a 9 month old G2/Desire Z or an E7 or even bother with the Xperia Pro.

My trusty N900 is still my buddy. In a mobile phone sense of course!

Peace out people. I'll be back when I hear a proper announcement.

+1 to that mate. I thought it was just me who felt like that

How do you know that it wont have a keyboard??
It's in the leaked photos of the device

....
Thats not true anymore. Google announced EVERY manufacturer must release updates for at least a year and a half. Sounds reasonable..

I thought i'd buy a meego device. Realistically it wont happen unless that keyboardless is somewhere near magical.
That puts Android next on the list.

Nobody has concrete knowledge about the topic. We have the leaked information on the topic subject, that's it. We also have some info from people who claim to be "in the know". We are here because we are excited from all the clues showing up, and having a bit of a pre-announcement party... No use to come here and complain about the lack of info, sorry to disappoint you.

NO! If you have an N900 before and buy E7 you will be VERY dissapointed. The damn SYmbian UI is a joke. Trust me I have seen it. HW is nice but symbian still a joke. Maemo kills it hard even if Maemo has is lacking thinks...

Atleast wait until symbian Anna is ready and hope it has improved.
