Any special trick to show up Jay-C Bootmenu? after flashing the standart kernel and following the new instructions, the bootmenu is not showing up anymore.

just wanted to clear something out:
* installing android will flash files on your phone?
* android runs and is installed directly from a mem card?
* if you remove the card, will the phone work with a maemo os without any problem?

What do you mean flashing the standard kernel? I thought the bootmenu now handles all flashing.
And I assume you're already opening the keyboard on bootup.

I flashed the nitroid dualboot kernel, and had the boot menu running. Now i wanted to have the new method, since i got sick of R&D mode and some strange problems with the modified kernel. I just flashed the PR1.2 Kernel, removed the bootmenu and than followed the instructions. opening the kezboard at booting however doesnt bring up Jay-c bootmenu.

The previous build of Android to this (the one with the broken wireless) I didnt get any of the above and Android seemed to work quite well
Anyone any ideas to the potential cause of the problems above
Cheers
